Privacy Policy

Parallax Life Co Pty LTD (ABN 66 631 353 752) trading as Parallaxx Transformations, hereafter referred to as “Parallaxx”, “we”, “us”, or “our”, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website and use our coaching services.

This Privacy Policy is written to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (“Australian Privacy Law”).

Information Collection

When you interact with our website and services, we may collect the following information:

• Personal Information: This includes any information that can be used to identify you such as your name, address, email address, phone number, and billing information.
• Usage Information: We automatically collect information on how you interact with our website, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, links clicked, and other similar usage data.

Cookies and tracking

This website uses two analytics tools, and you can switch the second one off:

• Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and measures how quickly pages load. It is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device, does not fingerprint your browser, and cannot recognise you on a return visit.
• Google Analytics 4 shows us which pages are read, which links are followed, and roughly where in the world visitors are. It sets first-party cookies on your device so that several page views by the same person in one sitting are counted once rather than several times.

We do not use Google Analytics for advertising. Advertising storage, ad personalisation and advertising user data are switched off, so your visit is not used to target ads to you here or anywhere else.

A notice appears at the bottom of the page on your first visit with a button to turn Google Analytics off. Your choice is stored on your own device and remembered on later visits. Clearing your browser storage will bring the notice back.

There is no advertising pixel and no tag manager on this site.

Some pages load resources from third parties. Those parties receive your IP address and basic browser information as a result of your browser requesting the file:

• Google Fonts for typefaces, on every page.
• Google Analytics, on every page, unless you have turned it off as described above.
• Cloudflare cdnjs and unpkg for animation libraries, on most pages.
• YouTube for video, on some pages. These embeds use youtube-nocookie.com, which does not set advertising cookies unless you play the video.
• LeadConnector (GoHighLevel) for the application forms, which load only on The Reconnected Man and The Reconnected Woman.

The two self-assessment tools on this site, the Priority Audit and the Archetype Quiz, hold your answers in your browser’s memory for as long as the page is open. Nothing is saved, and nothing is sent to us.

Information Usage

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To provide, maintain, and improve our services.
• To process transactions.
• To send administrative information, for example, information regarding the website and changes to our terms, conditions, and policies.
• To respond to your inquiries and provide customer service.
• For our business purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, and to evaluate and improve our website, products, marketing, and your experience.

Information Sharing

We may share your personal information in the following cases:

• With service providers: We may share your personal information with service providers to monitor and analyze the use of our service.
• For business transfers: We may share or transfer your personal information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
• For legal purposes: We may disclose your information where we are legally required to do so in order to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.
• With your consent: We may disclose your personal information for any other purpose with your consent.

Service providers we use

Your information may be held or handled by the following providers:

• Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery.
• GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) — application forms, enquiry records and marketing email.
• Stripe — payment processing. Card details are given to Stripe and are never held by us.
• Teachable — course and programme materials, for people enrolled in them.
• Namecheap PrivateEmail — our email.
• Google — fonts and video embeds, as described above.

How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry and client records for as long as we may need them, and as a small business we have not routinely deleted them. If you would like your information removed, ask us and we will delete it.

Where your information is held

Parallaxx is an Australian business. Several of the providers listed above store information outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. Where information about people in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom is transferred outside those areas, we rely on the transfer safeguards those providers have in place.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have certain rights in relation to your personal data:

• The right to access: You have the right to request copies of your personal data.
• The right to rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate or complete information you believe is incomplete.
• The right to erasure: You have the right to request that we erase your personal data under certain conditions.
• The right to restrict processing: You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data under certain conditions.
• The right to object to processing: You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data under certain conditions.
• The right to data portability: You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

Under Australian Privacy Law, you also have the right to access and correct your personal information, and to complain if you believe your privacy has been breached.

Making a request or a complaint

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

Data Security

We are committed to ensuring the security of the information we hold about you. We take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, and loss, and from unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
